The Story

FATAL follows Fred, a proud provider and beloved father who gives his family everything except the one thing they ask of him: to take care of himself. As warnings pile up and pride digs in, the people who love him are forced to watch a slow collision they cannot stop.

Achura Emmanuel Fredrick

The movie FATAL is one of the most educational yet entertaining movies I have laid my hands on. It gives one a touch and feeling of creativity while working on it. I can never be more thankful to the producer for entrusting me with such a great piece.

Achura Emmanuel Fredrick is a versatile Ugandan filmmaker whose work has significantly shaped the East African film and television industry: directing, producing, writing, acting and editing with equal command. His notable works include the award-winning Kony: Order from Above, Beautiful Ashes, Amitam, Escape, No Border and Tifagiya, alongside television landmarks such as Crossroads, Hotel Mara and Senkyu Boss.

As Managing Director of Atonga Media, he has partnered with the BBC, USAID and M-Net, producing award-winning content and nurturing emerging talent, blending traditional African storytelling with modern cinematic technique. Story by Angél Toni Acer · Written by Esther Nampewo.
